TV?

if Mama & Papa don't get the cable hooked up soon, i am gonna go bat-sh*t. they keep watching Seinfeld DVDs over and over and over and over... i've been hiding under the bed.

where the heck am i?

omg, i moved?! all of the sudden, i was in the car in my carrier and then, i was next to my litter box in a room i'd never seen before!

Mama & Papa are still here, and the couches, my food dish and my toys, but the house changed....how did that happen?

laaaazy...

it's a lazy day, but i still am managing to get myself into trouble. Mama & Papa are digging through boxes and i keep getting in the way by jumping into them to play hide and seek. there are a lot of strange smells and i want to know what they are!

my favorite place is in the closet with Mama. there are shiny things in there and different smells on the bottoms of her shoes. it's fun.

the weather is nice so i am going to.....what's that??! BIRD!!!!!!!!

something is up...

some strange man came into the house the other day with a long stick that made noises. he was poking that thing everywhere, the ceiling, the floor, the backyard. Mama has been sick, i wonder if it has anything to do with that?

Mama & Papa keep talking about being glad to be getting out of here. are we moving? what is wrong with our home? Mama says something to me about being sorry that we are gonna be in a smaller space. not sure what she means, but i guess i will find out. Mama says soon everything will be better...

ok, i trust her. i can't wait then!

Devil Cat

it's a beautiful day outside so i decided to stare at some birds and stalk them best as i can, seeing as i am inside, and then all of the sudden Merley, the mean black cat from next door, charges up to the screen hissing at me again...

i just want to be friends with her but i think she has metal problems. even her human calls her Devil Cat. she always hisses at me and it scares me so i run behind Mama and peek out from behind her. why doesn't Merley like me? she is such a pretty cat.

oh well, guess i'll take a bath now.

no carb diet!

Mama has been concerned about my weight and health. she caught me in the beer. she didn't like all the junk in my food either and thought that i might be allergic to wheat because i was bloated and had flakey skin. (maybe its the beer)

she switched my food and it is super yummy. she jokes that its a "no carb diet." i dunno what that means but i sure did lose weight - i look great!

its called Blue and its organic. i think organic means yummy. i taste alot more meat now.

but, my flakes didn't go away. Papa says he is gonna give me a bath. that's ok, i don't mind baths too much. besides, they give me catnip and brush me after. i like that!

let me introduce myself...

hi, i'm Foxy. i will be 5 in a few months. i just learned how to use the computer after watching my Mama & Papa stare at it endlessly over the years.

this is just a little blog about my simple life in Orange County, CA with my human parents who love me more than anything in the world (except music - they are musicians).

i am so glad they were at Petsmart that day when the woman who originally owned me came in to give me away to anyone that would take me. the woman didn't exactly explain why she had to give me away, but said she bought me from a pet store. Mama says it was suspicious but perhaps meant to be. they had just lost their other kitty and were just there to have a look at what kitties needed homes at the adoption fair going on that day.

i remember riding home on Papa, meowing, and playing with the shadow that the sun hanging from Mama's rear view mirror was casting on Papa's lap. Papa was so nice to me and i just knew that they would take good care of me.

that first might, Mama had a gig, but Papa was home to take care of me. when Mama came home early in the morning, i was sleeping on Papa's head.
